Roberts Luxury Tours offer a range of tours for seniors groups. We now have a 21 seater coach, “Tweety” and “Babe”, a 34 seater, to cater for smaller groups. We can also arrange for a couple of smaller groups to travel together, a great way to meet new faces and places.
Many of our senior groups have been enjoying first class travel for their monthly day trips for many years and especially enjoy our complimentary morning tea (served in china cups with delicious home made cakes and biscuits).
Your group tour needs can be arranged to suit your individual club requirements. Pick up points (usually club meeting address) and times are all worked within your clubs time frame. Roberts can arrange the tours to suite special club interests or even just transfers for your movie or concert outings days. You may hire just the luxury coach for your day trip (provide your own picnic lunch) or you can just sit back and let our office arrange your whole outing.
Below is a sample of our seniors tours, for prices or bookings please don't hesitate to contact us. Also remember that we can cater to any requirements and can arrange special interest tours, so please don’t hesitate to ask if you have particular ideas in mind.
Scenic River Cruise
Still one of the most popular tours-enjoy the changing shores of the Swan River.
Relax in air-conditioned comfort and enjoy home made morning tea in a scenic location. Continue to Fremantle and board the Captain Cook Cruises. Discover the delights of the Swan River cruising from Port Fremantle to Perth. Take in the wonderful sights that can only be viewed from the river. Enjoy wine tasting, a chicken and salad lunch on board as your Captain points out all the sights including the restored Swan Brewery, Kings Park, RP Yacht Club, magnificent homes and the Bell Tower. Your coach will collect you at Barrack Street Jetty and we continue up to Hillarys Boat Harbour for a browse (or Kings Park for a stroll) and maybe an ice cream.
Mandurah Cruise
Morning tea en route as we travel to Mandurah for a cruise followed by your choice of lunch. Or a wee touch of Scotland at the Clansman with your choice of a short or long cruise to South Yunderup, both with a two course lunch and tea and coffee. On our way home travel through Pinjarra stopping at Edenvale Tourist Centre.
Avon Valley
The charming and historic town of Toodyay is located 85km from Perth, situated on the Avon River. Toodyay is a quiet place with just a hint of alternative lifestyle. We stop and enjoy tea at Duidgee Park and then continue on to Northam with a stop at the Northam Visitors Centre to view the suspension bridge and Northam's White Swans. If we remember some bread we can even feed the swans. Lunch today will be enjoyed at the recently restored Grand Hotel - a rustic 110 year old building, followed by an afternoon visit to Old Railway Museum where you can view the original carriages, railway tracks and memorabillia. Dragonfire Pottery is next on our list with a large selection of stoneware and pottery to view. Should time permit a stop for some fruit on the way home.
Gravity Discovery Centre
A guided tour this morning of the Gravity Discovery Centre. The gravity exhibits will help answer the big questions of life??? Morning tea will be enjoyed outside the centre. Lunch today will be at Willowbrook Farm - enjoy a delicious home cooked two course lunch. Kaye and Harry will make you feel very welcome. Browse through the sweeping gardens at your leisure. For a longer visit at the Gravity Discovery Centre lunch can be enjoyed at the Stargazers Cafe at the centre. Morning tea would then be at a different location. An afternoon visit on our way home of your choice.
Hope to see you on board our luxury coaches!
